Children's Extensive Support Program (CES)

The Children's Extensive Support Program is a Medicaid waiver program that provides Medicaid benefits and specific services to children (birth to age 18) with a developmental disability as well as severe behavioral and/or serious, ongoing medical diagnoses.

A child can be considered eligible for this program whether or not they qualify for SSI. Currently, there is a waiting list for this program; however, once a child becomes active in CES, services may include respite care as well as prescribed therapies, medical supplies and equipment. If a child is covered under family medical insurance, CES pays any balance of these costs that the family's policy does not cover.

You may contact the CES Coordinator by calling (303) 252-7199.
