The Recreation Program

The Recreation program offers a wide variety of leisure acitivities specifically designed to stretch abilities and provide new experiences for people with developmental disabilities.

This program publishes a monthly Recreation Schedule that is sent to participants and families who request it. Afternoon, evening and weekend activities are prevalent, and the cost for any activity is reasonable. Regularly scheduled activities include bowling, movie and restaurant trips, and local events. Seasonal events include camping, water sports and skiing.

Our program coordinates with Special Olympics Colorado, The National Sports Center for the Disabled, and Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center to offer an even wider variety of activities and experiences.

People who have been found eligible for services through North Metro Community Services or another Colorado Community Centered Board may participate in our Recreation Program.
