Many people involved in day and work programs at North Metro depend upon our Transportation Department and its fleet of vehicles. These include wheelchair-accessible vans, passenger vans, several smaller vans and service trucks. On a daily basis, there are 29 door-to-door routes to Day Program and 6 routes to enclaves.

This department also distributes monthly passes to people who use RTD to attend Day Program or community employment as well as Access-A-Ride coupon books. RTD bus training is also an available service.

Family members and Host Home Providers are paid to transport Day Program participants who live outside our designated boundaries.
